2022 Safety Courses
It’s no secret that boating is best enjoyed – when floating safely! Often times we think this begins and ends with wearing a life jacket or the engine cut-off switch wristband. While these things help and are very important, knowledge is power and nothing beats being prepared. This is why LLA reminds all lake goers to take a safety course. Even the most skilled boaters could learn something new and there’s a course for everyone – boating safety, paddle and kayak safety, vessel checks and more.
There’s still time to complete a boating safety course before boating season is in full force. LLA has wrapped up a few local and online options for you to consider.
LLA recommends Boat US Foundation for state specific courses approved by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
