Safety Courses
One of the best ways to become a better boater is by enrolling in a Boating Safety Course. There are courses available for all skill levels. Many are available online through BoatUS. Additionally two organizations offer Boating Safety Courses on Lake Lanier – The US Coast Guard Auxiliary as well as America’s Boating Club.
In-Person and Online Boating Safety Courses
Be sure to check with your insurance company to see if you qualify for a discount after completing a boating safety course. Many insurance companies do offer that discount!
America's Boating Club Atlanta
Local classes are virtual and offered in three sessions per month. Courses cost $25 per person (with an optional $28 book).
