How the Night Unfolds

Cocktail Hour

Kick off the night with libations and hors d’oeuvres, gather your friends for a photo, settle in for an impactful evening of preserving Lake Lanier. Silent auction opens.

Dinner & Program

Enjoy dinner from Lanier Islands catering, inspiring guest speakers, celebratory video and impact stories.

8:30 PM

Live Auction & Fund-A-Need

Bid on unique items and experiences, then raise your paddle to fund future programming on Lake Lanier.

9:15 PM

Entertainment

Close out the night with music and fun ~ celebrating 60 years of the LLA and the bright future ahead. Silent auction closes.

What to Wear

Dress Code

Dress in classic cocktail attire inspired by the timeless style of 1966. Think elegant silhouettes, rich jewel tones, polished suits, and sophisticated accessories with a touch of mid-century flair. Vintage-inspired accessories are encouraged but completely optional—make it your own!

Where is parking?
Ample parking is provided in the lot leading up to Peachtree Pointe. Uber and Lyft are great options to kick your celebration up a notch, or carpool with your friends and neighbors.

Is there a gate fee?
No – Peachtree Pointe is located before the gate at Lanier Islands, so no gate fee is required.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?
The gala will take place indoors primarily, with an outdoor cocktail hour. The outdoor portion of the night will be held on the covered Peachtree Pointe patio, overlooking the amphitheater.

What happens if it rains?
The gala is primarily an indoor event and tickets are non-refundable. Additional weather-related information will be shared with registered guests if needed.

Is there assigned seating?
Sponsors and table purchasers will have reserved seating. Individual ticket holders will be seated at shared tables.

Is my event ticket tax-deductible?
Individual tickets are not tax-deductible. Sponsorships may be tax-deductible, less the fair market value of the benefits and tickets received.

Will there be fundraising opportunities at the gala?
Yes! The 60th anniversary gala is one of the Lake Lanier Association’s largest fundraising events of the year. Guests will have several opportunities to support our work, including a live auction and opportunity to fund a need.

What payment options are available?
We will accept credit cards, checks, and cash for donations and auction purchases.

What if my plans change and I can no longer attend?
If you are no longer able to attend, please contact LLA at lakeinfo@lakelanier.org as soon as possible so we can update the guest list. Your ticket payment will be converted into a tax-deductible donation and therefore, refunds are not offered. Alternatively, your ticket can be transferred to a friend, family member, or colleague.

Is there a room block if we want to stay overnight at Lanier Islands?
Yes! A room block has been reserved at Legacy Lodge for the night of the gala, giving guests the option to extend the celebration and enjoy all that Lanier Islands Resort has to offer.
