Victoria Clevenger, Executive Director

Victoria Clevenger was named Executive Director in November 2023. She is no stranger to the Lake Lanier Association (LLA) community – She joined the staff of the LLA in February 2021, as Membership and Communications Coordinator.

She earned her MBA and undergrad degree from Lee University in Cleveland, TN. She is an Ohio native and spent many years in Tennessee before relocating to Georgia to join the LLA team. She came to the LLA with over five years of sales and marketing experience for a higher-ed non-profit in Tennessee.

Over the past three years, she has spearheaded internal communications to LLA members through the quarterly newsletter, social media, email marketing and website updates. She has had direct interactions with volunteers working on our signature activities – the Annual Member Celebration and Shore Sweep – as well as handling marketing for other initiatives.

Victoria brings to the LLA team a creative eye, excellent project management skills and a passion for building strong relationships. When she’s not spending time on Lake Lanier, you can find her cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes or baking treats to share with loved ones.

JAcquelyn Groux-Guhl, Communications and Membership Coordinator

Jacquelyn Guhl was named Communications and Membership Coordinator in March 2024. She attended Samford University in Birmingham, AL and earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with a focus in public relations. She also has a minor in Spanish.

During her time at school, Jacquelyn was passionate about non-profit work. She helped market and create an on-campus campaign for United Way of Central Alabama which brought awareness to childhood education and hunger. In later years, she interned at Make-A-Wish Alabama where she developed crucial communications skills that include writing press releases, running social media accounts, and helping plan fundraisers.

As a resident of Georgia for the last sixteen years, Jacquelyn grew up visiting Lake Lanier occasionally. After meeting her now husband, an Alpharetta native, she developed a newfound love for the lake as a whole and the area surrounding it. This connection paired with the belief that we should all be good stewards of this beautiful resource makes Jacquelyn a great fit for this role.

Jacquelyn will bring many positive attributes to the LLA team including strong interpersonal skills, a love for writing, creative thinking, and a drive to build long lasting relationships for the LLA. During her free time, she remains passionate about animals and nature. She can be found spending much of her time outdoors or with her husband and many cats.
