The Lake Lanier Association has concluded its two month search for a new Executive Director.

Today, we are excited to announce Amy McGuire as the new Executive Director. Amy McGuire will join the LLA team in June 2022.

She will work closely with our new president, Todd Baxter, as well as Victoria Clevenger, Communications and Membership Coordinator, and the LLA Board of Directors to move our Clean, Full and Safe Lake initiatives forward.

As a life-long advocate for Lake Lanier, Amy’s passion exudes from her warm smile and contagious enthusiasm. For over 25 years, she has worked and supported official interests on the lake, as well as enjoyed Lake Lanier recreationally.

Amy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia where she majored in Consumer Economics and Entrepreneurship with a minor in Business. She comes to the Lake Lanier Association with experience working for Aqualand and Hideaway Bay Marina in Member Services and Sales. Her professional background also includes some time spent in medical sales and account management.

These experiences have enhanced her skills and deepened a desire to return to the Lake Lanier community. She shares a passion to protect and preserve this great resource, making the transition to LLA Executive Director a natural fit.

Amy lives in Buford with her husband, Bill, and their children Conner and Molly. Together, they spend much of their free time boating on Lake Lanier.

The Lake Lanier Association is confident Amy will be a valuable asset to the association. We look forward to having her on our team as we continue to work together towards a Clean, Full and Safe Lake Lanier.

Look for more to come on Amy in the upcoming weeks when she officially joins the LLA team! Please join us in welcoming Amy McGuire to the Lake Lanier Association as our new Executive Director.
