In Memory of Paul Flood

Paul Flood on Boat

Lake Lanier Association would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of Paul Flood. Paul was a longtime member of the Board of Directors for the Lake Lanier Association who passed away February 25 at the age of 90. He was a fixture at monthly board meetings for many, many years and we wish to acknowledge his lengthy contribution to LLA in honor of his recent passing.

In 1994, Paul and June moved to Cumming, GA, and built their dream home on Lake Lanier. This was a wonderful chapter of Paul’s life, due to his love of the lake and all activities associated with lake life. Paul could be seen on his dock every weekend, drinking his Jameson Irish Whiskey, while enjoying friends, family, and his beloved dogs. He was committed to the preservation of Lake Lanier, serving as a Board Member of the Lake Lanier Association for 25+ years.

His family has generously suggested that anyone wishing to make a contribution in his honor should consider LLA as a worthy recipient for his legacy. LLA is honored to be considered in this way and would welcome any and all contributions in Paul’s honor.

A private graveside service is planned. If you’d like to donate in Paul’s honor, his family is suggesting the Lake Lanier Association as a worthy recipient for Paul’s legacy.
