LLA Launches Internship Program
The Lake Lanier Association (LLA) has long aspired to host college students, through an internship program, to help the next generation of professionals hone in on their marketing, program management and interpersonal skills before their post-grad adventure begins.
For the Fall 2025 semester, we are pleased to officially launch our internship program and welcome not one – but two – interns to our team. LLA’s Board of Directors and staff are pleased to announce Emma Bredfeldt and Reagan Lamb as our Special Events and Marketing Interns!
Each of these students will get hands-on, real-world experience in a non-profit setting. This semester they will actively participate in social media and email marketing campaigns, special events, like community presentations and Shore Sweep. They are invited to engage with our community partners, sponsors and donors – just as any staff member would do. The LLA team is excited to share our passion for Lake Lanier and our on-lake programs with these students.
Be on the lookout for Emma and Reagan at LLA events and in-office; we hope you have an opportunity to meet these bright, young professionals while they are on our team! We invite you to get to know them through their bios below.
Meet the Fall 2025 Interns:
MEET EMMA BREDFELDT

Emma Bredfeldt is a Senior at the University of North Georgia majoring in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations.
Originally from Gainesville, Florida, she moved to Gainesville, Georgia, to pursue her studies. Emma first fell in love with the North Georgia mountains during visits to see family in Dahlonega. While the two Gainesville cities share a name, Emma is proud to call Georgia her new home. Having always lived near the water, Emma developed a deep appreciation for its importance, a connection that only grew stronger through time spent in and around Lake Lanier.
Throughout her time at UNG, Emma has taken on several leadership roles, including serving as Social Media Coordinator for Lambda Pi Eta Communications Honor Society and Vice President of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). In these positions, she focuses on social media strategy, event planning, and member engagement while also supporting the chapter’s growth through organizational management.
Emma has developed a strong foundation in public relations through hands-on experience. She is excited to continue building her skills by working on projects with the Lake Lanier Association and contributing meaningfully to the local community. In her free time, she enjoys exploring local coffee shops and spending time at her favorite Pilates studio.
MEET REAGAN LAMB

Reagan Lamb is a senior at the University of North Georgia majoring in History with a minor in Public Relations and Communications.
She grew up on the shores of Lake Lanier, fostering a lifelong appreciation for the lake and the surrounding community. Her collegiate studies began at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, fostering her innate passion for environmental protection and wildlife management. She has over six years of experience in event planning and digital design through her work with Lamb Co & Designs. Her work includes everything from large-scale community events to tailored brand visuals. Since middle school, she has volunteered at a nonprofit veterinary clinic and she has helped in numerous Hurricane Helene clean up projects. She is also a volunteer cheerleading coach for her high school alma mater.
With a strong academic foundation and a natural enthusiasm for storytelling, Reagan offers a fresh perspective and a deep commitment to preserving the health and beauty of Lake Lanier.
Through her internship with LLA, she hopes to gain more hands-on experience in nonprofit communications, including social media and email campaigns. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Georgia’s historic sites, spending time on the water, and building lasting memories with family and friends.
