Meet Emma Bredfeldt
LLA’s New Development Coordinator
We are excited to announce a new role within the LLA team and welcome Emma Bredfeldt as our Development Coordinator. Emma joined the LLA team in August as an intern and quickly demonstrated her dedication to LLA’s mission. Since then, she has participated in a variety of LLA events, gaining insight into our on-lake programs while building relationships within the LLA community. As Development Coordinator, Emma will lead member, donor, and sponsor development efforts by driving recruitment, retention, and engagement. Emma has already made a strong impact, and we are excited to see all she will contribute as we continue advancing our mission of a Clean, Full, and Safe Lake.

Emma Bredfeldt joined the Lake Lanier Association as a Development Coordinator in June of 2026. A recent graduate of the University of North Georgia, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations in the Spring of 2026 while serving as a Special Events and Marketing Intern with the LLA from August 2025 through graduation.
Originally from Gainesville, Florida, Emma moved to Gainesville, Georgia, to pursue her education. After spending years visiting the North Georgia mountains with her family, the area felt familiar and welcoming, making her decision to attend UNG a natural next step.
During her time at UNG, Emma served as Social Media Coordinator for the Lambda Pi Eta Communications Honor Society and Vice President of the Public Relations Student Society of America. Through these leadership roles, she focused on social media strategy, event planning, and student engagement, while strengthening her communication and leadership skills.
As an intern with the Lake Lanier Association, Emma contributed to event planning, social media marketing, volunteer engagement, as well as the largest Shore Sweep to date. One of her favorite experiences was the Annual Member Celebration, where she celebrated all who make LLA’s work possible.
Emma is excited to continue working alongside members, sponsors, donors, and community partners in support of LLA’s mission to keep Lake Lanier Clean, Full, and Safe. In her free time, Emma enjoys spending time outdoors, trying new restaurants with friends, and working out. She is grateful to call North Georgia home.
